Registro.Italiano is a service operated by Pelloso Holdings LLC (United States). This Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our genealogical research platform for Italian historical records.

• Searches: the terms you search (surname, name, parentage) to locate records.
• Contact: email and, where applicable, tax ID, provided when subscribing to a service.
• Payment: processed by our provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
• Usage: basic technical browsing data for analysis and service improvement.

2. How we use your data

• Run searches and display the records found.
• Process payments and deliver the contracted service (comune unlock or certificate request).
• Email you the result and communications regarding your request.
• Improve search relevance and platform quality.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers necessary to operate the service — for example, Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), and Resend (email delivery) — and only to the extent necessary.

4. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data, and ask not to be contacted again. Just write to info@registroitaliano.com.

5. Retention and security

We keep your data for as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. We adopt reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it.
